Turn Your Customers’ Photos Into Printable Mazes
Your customers already send you photos. Now turn any one of them into a solvable maze in the shape of their pet, their portrait, their child’s drawing, or their logo — without design software or hand-tracing a thing.
Free to try — previews carry a small watermark until you hold a license.
Why this works better than another printable pack
Personalized products are priced on being one of a kind. A maze built from the customer’s own image is exactly that.
The shape traces itself
Upload any photo — a pet, a portrait, a kid’s drawing, a logo. The silhouette is extracted automatically. Most maze tools make you hand-draw or upload a black-and-white mask first; here you don’t touch it.
Every order is a new shape
The shape comes from the customer’s photo, so no two orders look alike. That is the difference between another printable in a saturated category and a product nobody else in your niche can copy.
Print-ready, not screen-ready
Export a 300 DPI PDF in US Letter or A4 with bleed-safe margins, plus PNG and true vector SVG. Every maze ships with a matching solution page.
Licensed to sell
A commercial license covers selling the finished product on Etsy, your own storefront, or print-on-demand. No attribution required, no royalty owed.
No design software
It runs in the browser. Upload, pick a difficulty and page size, download. Nothing to install, nothing to learn, no Illustrator or Photoshop needed.
Digital or physical
Use the PDF as a printable download, or the PNG and SVG for print-on-demand puzzles, mugs, tote bags, cards and framed prints.
What sellers make with it
Pet portraits
A customer sends a photo of a dog. They get a maze shaped like that dog.
Weddings & couples
A couple’s photo becomes a maze for a guest book, invitation insert, or anniversary gift.
Kids’ drawings
Turn a child’s own drawing into a puzzle their parents will actually keep.
Business logos
A logo-shaped maze works as a branded giveaway, conference insert, or client gift.
Memorial & keepsakes
A photo keepsake that is meant to be solved, not just looked at.
Classroom & party packs
Shape a maze like a letter, a number, a mascot, or a theme for a party or worksheet.
One order, three steps
Upload the photo
Drop in the customer’s image. The silhouette is traced automatically — no masking, no tracing, no cleanup.
Set difficulty and page size
Easy to super-hard, US Letter or A4. Start and finish are placed on the connected area, and separate regions are bridged, so the route is always solvable.
Download and sell
Get a print-ready PDF or PNG/SVG plus the solution page. Upload it to your shop as a listing or a finished order.
Questions sellers ask first
Can I sell the mazes I make on Etsy or print-on-demand?+
Yes. A commercial license covers selling the finished product — Etsy printables, print-on-demand items, your own storefront, or client work. No attribution is required and no royalty is owed on your sales.
Do I have to trace or mask the photo myself?+
No. MazeDIY extracts the silhouette automatically from an ordinary photo. Some maze generators require you to prepare a black-and-white mask image before uploading; here the photo is enough.
What if the customer’s photo has a busy background?+
Photos with a clear subject and reasonable contrast produce the cleanest shapes. A plain or uncluttered background works best, and cleaning up the source image first improves the result. Simple shapes — animals, people, logos, objects — trace most reliably.
What file formats do I get?+
PDF at 300 DPI in US Letter and A4 with bleed-safe margins, PNG at 300 DPI, and true vector SVG that scales without quality loss. A matching solution page is included so you can supply the answer alongside the puzzle.
Do I need design software or any skills?+
No. Everything runs in the browser. You upload an image, choose a difficulty and page size, and download the finished files. There is nothing to install and no design experience required.
Is every maze actually solvable?+
Yes. Mazes are generated by a classical recursive-backtracker algorithm, not drawn by an image model. Start and finish are placed on the connected area and any separate regions of the shape are bridged, so there is always a continuous valid route, and the solution page shows it.
